We all love a summer party and as garden parties go this one was near perfection! I photographed this lovely family a few years ago, so I was delighted when they asked me back to record the celebrations for them. It was a blisteringly hot day in early summer and the garden was looking glorious with the flower beds in full bloom. The adults enjoyed cold drinks, music and a hog roast. For the children there were fairy entertainers, giant inflatable hamster balls and, of course, the chance to run feral and explore the garden’s hidden corners. After months of planning a big event, the day itself can fly by in a blur. Good quality photographs allow you to relive the occasion and capture some of the special moments you may have missed.
